VIETNAM’S FIRST ROOFTOP SOLAR PROJECT USING HOYMILES MIT-5000-8T MICROINVERTER

Project Overview

On May 11, 2025, a 25kW rooftop solar system was officially commissioned at the Thanh Giang Shrimp Crackers Factory in Dong Thap Province.

This is the first project in Viet Nam to apply the Hoymiles MIT-5000-8T — a three-phase microinverter model, representing one of the most advanced inverter technologies for small-to-medium commercial rooftop solar systems.

Technology Highlights

The system features a modern and flexible solar architecture:

• Inverter: Hoymiles MIT-5000-8T (three-phase microinverter, 5000 VA output)
• Data Transmission Unit: DTU-Pro S with stable Sub-1G wireless communication
• Accessories: T5-Flex – integrated cabling system for quick installation
• Connection Model: 8-in-1 – each inverter supports up to 8 PV modules

REEPRO’s Role in Project Delivery

As the EPC contractor for the rooftop solar system, REEPRO was responsible for:

• Site inspection and consulting on rooftop solar solutions suitable for the factory’s structure

• Technical system design and coordination of electrical connections

• Equipment installation using genuine Hoymiles components with high safety and accuracy

• System configuration and performance monitoring via S-Miles Cloud platform

• Operation training and full handover to the project owner
